We welcome 2024 with a forecast report on which colors we predict will be trending this year. Let's dive into the exciting color palette that will dominate social media, runways and wardrobes in 2024.
We love a good bold color and we predict that we’ll be seeing lots of cherry red this year especially around the warmer seasons (if you live somewhere that has seasons that is). Red looks amazing on all skin tones when it comes to clothing, even makeup (think classy red lips!) and accessories, cherry red will immediately make any outfit stand out.
A total contrast of the Cherry red, we’ll be seeing sky blue dominating this year. When we think of sky blue we immediately think of spring. This softer shade of blue pairs beautifully with chocolate brown, tan, white, off-white and the list goes on. There are endless styling options when it comes to wearing sky blue.
Last year, green proved to be a big color trend with hues popping up throughout different designer collections. A refreshing take on the classic green, Pistachio green is another soft hue that we are loving and can’t wait to see more of. Similar to Sage green, Pistachio green gives off a very soft and feminine feel. Think clothing, handbags, and maybe even shoes in this beautiful soft hue. Pair with either gold or silver accessories for a sophisticated clean look that is timeless and elegant.
We started seeing this trend in 2023 already and guess what? We’ll be seeing plenty more metallic silver in 2024. This color is not just for the holidays but can be worn year-long, if styled properly that is. It’s all in the details when it comes to metallics. A statement accessory, clothing or even swimwear goes a long way when it comes to silver. We are excited to see how designers and brands will incorporate metallic silver in their upcoming collections, stay tuned!
So now that you have a rundown on trending colors of the year, which colors are you most excited about? These colors are not your typical hues but that’s what we love about fashion; it’s all about taking risks and expressing yourself through clothing and accessories.
